SOLVED - Broken backgrounds on custom avatar
THE ISSUE: If you are reading this because you have a similar problem your model is WAY TOO BIG, there is a reference avatar mesh somewhere on the discussions boards that I had to use to compare scale, this will require you to re-export all your animations aswell.
but yeah actual solution was to just scale the model down.

ORIGINAL POST:

hey so every time I import my custom avatar the backgrounds break causing a void leak effect akin to something like a map without a skybox

I already emailed support about this but I figured I'd post here too for posterity

you can see the remnants of a previous background loaded into the scene

the background plane is also occluding the mesh

making my model smaller doesn't fix this either

but yeah I kind of need this fixed for an upcoming project
so any help would be appreciated

For the record I am using blender for this but I doubt that should really be an issue

Hi there, our team replied with a fix, apparently the custom avatar needs to be scaled (:
