Help Importing Special Pose and Animation Requirements
I've been digging through what documentation I can, but there is little to no information around special poses for 3D avatars. I understand the requirements for special 'animations', but nothing around special 'poses'. I'm looking for the action that can be toggled on and off, replacing the base pose. Am I missing information?

I understand that Facerig is capable of achieving this through the "Hatzi" model and his ears being toggled back. Also I found comments around the topic here https://facerig.com/forum/topic/special-pose/ for importing special 'poses' into Facerig.

I was able to import an animation clip through the importWizard called SpecialPose01 under the SpecialAnims/ folder as described in the facerig topic forum. Running Facerig, it does pickup that the special pose is there and selectable in the custom action panel. Unfortunately, activating the pose does nothing at all to the model and I'm not sure as to why. I've tried setting up the animation differently from a 0-30 key frame animation from base pose to special pose as well as only having the special pose at frame 0 and 30. I even tried overriding the entire idle animation withe the new special pose for the body, but nothing appears to be able to active in Facerig.

What are the requirements for special poses and how should it be setup for 3D avatars?

Hello,

Special Pose uses only the first frame so make sure that the first frame of your Special Pose animation is not the same as idle1.

If you're still having problems, send us the model at info[at]facerig[dot]com and we'll have a look at it.
