Chapter 2 enter the raven

So I am having trouble following the raven, its the part where you are jumping platforms and you come to a platform with a ladder on the floor and an open hatch above you, i have been stuck here for like twenty minutes, i cant get up there and my cursor is not letting me make a shadow anywhere up there to teleport and every walkthrough video i see, the person just teleports. Am i missing something simple here? Lol thanks for the help

Oh, found the issue. If you've got Shadow Distance lower than 10 you'll get game breaking bugs like that... I should have noticed this before.

I can get pretty close but only about to the rim of the opening

You don't need to create a shadow there.. it should let you go up using the Leap. I noticed another person had that same issue, but i've got no idea why that's happening only to a couple of people. Could you try downgrading to an older version of the game and see what happens? You can do that by going to Game Properties -> betas.
