I'm still working out how to streamline the process of trading plant files (unfortunately Steam isn't very supportive of .png format), but right now the best source for them is the #gardener-plants channel on the official Discord server.
Hopefully in the next update I'll be able to implement uploading them to Steam as a screenshot/artwork/workshop item without destroying the metadata inside the image file. Until then - the files are generated in the "Pictures/Gardener" directory, and can be shared by sending them via link, discord, etc.
It has to be generated in the Plant Creator, and dragging should start from a folder, not browser/Discord.
Here is a link to a plant from our Discord, let me know if this works: http://gardener.li/smallflower05.png
If the drag & drop method fails, You can also just manually copy the .png file to "My Documents/My Games/Gardener/Plants".
It's also possible that with the next update (0.1.4), any .jpg screenshot, .gif animation or .png image generated by Gardener Plant Creator will be accepted by the game as a valid plant file.
Details coming soon!
