You can now also get gems from squashing fruits (10% chance to contain gem), instead of waiting for the daily reward, let me know if this helps a bit - if not, i'll look into balancing a bit the drop rates/rarity chances.

Will experiment tonight with some solutions, with most likely daily rewards only granting gems that have not exhausted the traits pool yet. Hopefully it should be live with next update.
At the moment no, but i think it should be an easy change to implement. I'll do some testing with the day-stacking feature, maybe it'll be part of 0.1.5.
The current save format should be fully compatible (it just saves last login date), so in theory You should be able to save them until the change.
Basically if You roll a common gem, but collected all common parts/genes - the game will automatically upgrade it to rare gem. The reward can be still empty, if You've collected all rare (in this example) rewards though.
I assume getting that last unlock is what is required for both the "genes" and "traits" achievements?
Do You have all other parts/traits unlocked?
The achievement for unlocking all the "parts" triggered just fine.
Will do some testing tomorrow of new features, and if nothing broke in editor - attempt to release the patch.
