Report a translation problem
It might be that instead of hitting the "amphibious" button, which is used to invade an enemy-held coast, you hit the "sea transport" button. This requires a friendly port (or maybe just a friendly coastal hex--whatever it is it must be friendly) to unload in. You have to invade amphibiously first, capture a port (or hex) and then you can start shipping via sea transport.

I will try again. I got sucked into trying to win the East vs West scenario instead, playing as the Russians I don't have to worry about sea transport. :)
Well, except when the Americans just landed an army behind my lines of course.
This is a tough game to crack! :)
and sweden does not want to become allied with my German Army yet...
