Without any details on your company all I can say is raise the price of your cars. Just because you sell the most cars doesnt mean you make the most money. Thats one thing I catch myself on sometimes. Trying to dominate the market can bankrupt you.

General rule of thumb is the more you produce, the lower the costs per unit, which means the higher the margins. Of course, you need to be able to sell the amount you are producing.

There are a lot of things that contribute to you making money. Explore the game.

But I can give you a quick tip to get you started:
Play with supply and demand.
There more demand there is the more you need to supply.

How do you increase demand?
there are several ways but try this one:
For each car you design make at least 2 to 4 trims and sell them at different prices.

Demand increased now you need factory lines to manufacture them.

I found this method the least expensive way to increase demand.

best way to start off is by outright buying vehicles from other companies and selling them in your dealerships, doing this you can easily modify how many vehicles you buy based on how many you can sell, and develop your dealership network by doing this, you can also make some cars with your starting factory but its the contracted cars that bring in near guaranteed profit margin with minimal risk, of course to take the next step and become a major manufacturer yourself rather a reseller you will want to spend the money you make doing this to produce an actually good factory that can make cars in mass and then you simply supplant the contracted cars with your own designs.

This is a Game about the Automobile Industry .... At it's core you need to Manufacture , Design , Market and sell your products .... on a Global scale . Don't overlook this .
