Clicking on Financials Closes the game
Hi Eric and friends ,

Thank you for the game and apreciate such a community.
I have been playing the game for two months but without changing any settings ı cannot click on the financials in the last two weeks. It directly closes the game.

I know there was not any update in this time interval. So what can I do ?

If you're using Anti-virus on windows, you need to whitelist the game executable files. Please see instructions here: http://wiki.gearcity.info/doku.php?id=troubleshooting:antivirus

Beyond that, if you're using a mod, most likely it is missing logo files. Please check to see if it working with the default game files. If it does, you'll need to send the log files to the mod maker so he can see what files are missing.

Let me know if that fixes the issue or not, and we'll go from there.

Are you sure Windows Security Essentials or Windows Defender isn't running?

Try a file verification: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335

If that doesn't work, let me know. There are a few more things we can try.

I also tried that but doesn't work unfortunately. It is absurd because I could open safe two weeks ago but not now .

Ok. Try doing a clean reinstall. Follow these steps exactly, especially going to the folder and manually deleting the left over files. As Steam will not touch settings files or user generated files...

If this fails to work, then it has to be something installed on your computer that blocks loading financial page. As you said, nothing has changed in two weeks.
