Do you have auto-production enabled?
Also which type of worker? Or does it effect all departments?
I am out of office for the next several days, but I will look into it when I get back.
This should lower morale, which will cause more complaints. If you have benefits system enabled, it will also cause more demands from employees.
When in doubt, email me the save games with examples, and I will be happy to look at them for you.

I have checked the expenditure to make sure this isnt just a display error, I am paying 1 dollar per factory worker. Also, same bug works for all types of worker through human resources.
I think 'autohire' might be where the problem is? as that is enabled.
If you need any more info(or files) let me know, I can reproduce this at will. I was trying odd strategies to see how they worked when I found it!
I have also made a ticket for the expansion to merge auto hire and auto wage into one auto employ system.
