If you're using any mods, disable them.

Beyond that, I will need more information. What screen does it freeze at? Are you sure it's frozen and not just processing the data? Did you check to see if your Antivirus software is interrupting the game? At around 5 years into the game, the game starts deleting old report files, your AV software could be blocking this operation. Be sure to whitelist the game files, and run as administrator if you're using Windows. As that's the most likely culprits.
