CTD Files corrupting
Still having a lot of issues with game not displaying screens properly forcing me to quit and restart game or having it outright CTD on me.

I've gone in and verified the files, Steam reports 3 bad files and downloads them.
Run verification again and says all files good.

Go into game and play a couple turns before I start to experience problems again.

Exit game or have it CTD so go back to Steam and verify files and once again it reports 3 bad files and downloads them again.

This is on the testing build.
At one point I thought the issue might be my graphics settings but, since the display issues and CTDs frequently happen when there should be little to no graphics load don't believe that is the source for my issues but instead it's whatever is causing these files to get corrupted or not downloaded installed correctly.

Hope you can give me some advice on things to try for resolving this.

Note I did start this current save game with a modified Components and Components AI pop file but from what you've said in past those don't get accessed after the initial save game setup so once they were verified and replaced shouldn't cause further issues with the game correct.

Have you switched to OpenGL as I recommended last time you brought this up? If you're running Anti-virus software, disable it. If it still crashes after this email me the log file.

Final thing you can do is switch over to 32-bit build. It runs on the old engine. Although you will be on Default build.

Thanks for the reminder about OpenGL.
For some reason I had it switched to DirectX9, possibly from when you were testing fixes for that some time ago.

Have switched it now and see if that will clear up my problems.

Note testing build pops up a prompt to use DirectX instead of OpenGL when you start it with OpenGL enabled.
Will give it a try anyways and let you know if it helps or hurts things.

Yes, for most people DX9 works better now. But there are a few DX9 implementations on folks' computers which are not working properly.

DX9 is emulated within DX12 now. And I doubt driver writers put much effort into it anymore.

So can say OpenGL makes the game almost unplayable on my system as various screens take so long to load plus buttons don't always work as they should, including having to use right mouse button to select some buttons as it refuses to recognize the left button.
Additionally didn't resolve my basic problem., got another CTD while attempting to switch production at a factory in Mega Menu. When I opened Steam and verified files it again told me 3 files were missing/corrupt and that it would download them again. A second verification after that says my files are fine....

Will send you a copy of the save game later (won't be until after I get off work tonight so probably tomorrow morning for you unless I pass out early then won't be until tomorrow afternoon/evening.)

I need the log file after a crash, not the save game.

Beyond that, switch back to dx9, make sure no antivirus software is screwing up the game. Try running the game directly with Steam not running.

And then your backup plan is to switch to the 32-bit build.

Your issues is either with CEF and/or Drivers. There isn't really anything I can do. If the 32-bit build worked for you in the past, it is still an option.
