Final thing you can do is switch over to 32-bit build. It runs on the old engine. Although you will be on Default build.
For some reason I had it switched to DirectX9, possibly from when you were testing fixes for that some time ago.
Have switched it now and see if that will clear up my problems.
Will give it a try anyways and let you know if it helps or hurts things.
DX9 is emulated within DX12 now. And I doubt driver writers put much effort into it anymore.
Additionally didn't resolve my basic problem., got another CTD while attempting to switch production at a factory in Mega Menu. When I opened Steam and verified files it again told me 3 files were missing/corrupt and that it would download them again. A second verification after that says my files are fine....
Beyond that, switch back to dx9, make sure no antivirus software is screwing up the game. Try running the game directly with Steam not running.
And then your backup plan is to switch to the 32-bit build.
Your issues is either with CEF and/or Drivers. There isn't really anything I can do. If the 32-bit build worked for you in the past, it is still an option.
