New bug in post #7: Contract bid values in text are wrong

Hi,

taking out a bond prompts the sidebar to show the message "xy $ Bond taken out". The value linked to this is not the actual value of the capital, but the "yearly payment" amount (i.e. taking out 5m in bonds prompts a value of 300k).

No big deal, but may be easy to fix :) .

Also (since you're reading anyway): The new "small magazine" or "small report window" crops the magazine articles well before the "verdict" section on a windowed 1366x768 resolution. Will refine the headline accordingly.

I can verify this cropping, the article cuts off at the "long term" section of the review.

Sadly, the issue is with cross-site-scripting protections on the 64-bit browser (Chromium 70-something). The reviews work on the small magazine on the 32-bit browser (Chromium 12). I'll see if there is a way I can exploit the protection systems. Otherwise, I will just have to directly link the review .html files from the magazine rather than displaying them inline.

The issue with the magazine should be fixed. Not completely happy with the fix, but it will do.

Edit: And fixed the issue with the side bar bond amount.

Hey, another bug I could easily reproduce - when opening the contracts screen (I usually use the telephone) and bringing up a contract offer, the bid due dates do not match.

E.g. when the text says "... date is 01/1986" it's 12/1986 in the fact sheet below the text box. That value seems to be correct.

Which kind of contract is this? Racing, Military? Non Military? Component? If so what type?

Hey, come to think of it...
It's just the racing contracts. I restarted the game and let it run until 1901, this was the result:

Military seems to be fine, others didn't pop up yet.

Thanks, I have a good idea what the issue is. I will take a look for v1.25 release.
