Demo Not Loading

Whenever I try to open the demo of the game, nothing happens and the game does not open at all. I have tried using the launch configuration tool to change some setting, but that has not helped either. Am I missing something? I am on Windows btw. It might also be a problem with admin configurations but I am not sure.

Sorry for the late reply,

Go to the main folder of the game and click on GearCity.exe

You should get a windows popup error, if so let me know what it says.

I got the error saying: "The code execution cannot proceed because OpenAL32.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem". Thank you so much! I will follow the instructions on the wiki.

Steam is supposed to install it, but Steam won't install libraries it previously installed. If you uninstalled that program at some point after Steam installed it, it results in this error the next time you run a program that requires it.
