game wont start

game wont start, i just downloaded the game again after a couple of years and the game wont start, i get the option to choose launcher option, but after that i get nothing

Sorry for the late reply.

Unfortunately, Steam blocks operating system error messages. So you will have to launch the game from outside of Steam.

I am assuming you're using Windows.
Navigate to the game folder, and click the GearCity.exe file: https://wiki.gearcity.info/doku.php?id=troubleshooting:steam_installfolder

If you had the game installed on the machine before, you likely uninstalled OpenAL, which is a Steam installed library. Steam will not reinstall libraries it installed in the past.
