Auto-wage can't always handle strikes & destroyed factories keep inventory
Marketing employees went on strike, got an 11% wage increase IIRC. Now I get a hundred messages every week saying they're unhappy because they aren't paid what was agreed. So I have to turn off auto-wage and manually set their wages, because all their wages are 10$, but the union demands like 95$+.

EDIT: I also just found that destroyed factories don't have their storage removed. My Amsterdam factory was destroyed in WW2. It still holds around 10,000 cars which cost me 400,000$ in storage each month. I could scrap them with auto-commands though, so no big problem.

EDIT 2: While I'm here, I also have a minor issue with GUI scaling. Whenever a list is long enough to require a scroll bar, I can only scroll down so far that I can barely see the last entry in the list. Don't recall that being an issue before. It's still enough to click the last item, but it's a bit inconvenient. Not sure if it's a problem with the game or something I could've done.

Feel free to email me the save game. You most likely have conflicting strike wage prices.

Not really a bug. But not really designed this way. Should we destroy stored vehicles of factory? Typically stored vehicles are in huge lots, would all these vehicles get damaged from a bomber raid on a factory?

This issue was fixed several days ago. It is due to the UI system not redrawing it self after I manually hide horizontal scroll bars that the UI system liked to add for no reason.

Done!

Alright, I can accept that. I think there should be another way to scrap the cars there then though; I was only able to do it via "Scrap All Inventory" of the respective car model. That could be an issue if I have inventory of that model elsewhere, which I want to keep.

Glad to hear it!

Yeah, that little issue might lead me to just destroy all the cars as well.

Looking at the save game, it seems like the issue is related to the war. The Auto hire system fires all the marketing employees, and thus doesn't pay them, and that pisses off the union. It goes back to normal after the war. I'll let you know when I fix it.

Hmm, interesting. Thanks for having a look at it.

I believe I have the OP issue fixed. But it will require some pretty heavy testing. So let me know if you run into it again after v1.25.0.9.

I added a war time check to the strikers, and reorganized the auto systems so that setting marketing budget happens first, then hiring, then wages. We'll see.

Factory destruction and stored vehicles has also been fixed.
