This time a typical Japanese car of the 60s/70s. With a built-in dimension adjuster, it will be possible to customise the dimensions of this body as desired to fit various classes from subcompact to full-size sedan. Also adjustable: hood length, trunk length, front wheel position, b-pillar position, roof height.

Today I experimented a bit with components. The result is a colourable version of the e70 grille. The front can be painted in metal colours, the outside in body colours to ensure a seamless transition to the vehicle body.

Your company should win at Le Mans? This will be the perfect body for your 1950s purpose-built racing car!

Man this one looks really nice. I would love some Modern LMP style bodies though.
Some of the feature bounties involve vehicle types like Prototypes and Open-wheels, and then having those types only usable for racing contracts and racing series.
This can already be done already via the modding system if you had the vehicle type/models.
Just throwing that out there. ;)
Because of my rather limited 3D modelling skills, I only adapt finished models to the game and create morph animations. So I would have to find appropriate low-poly models with CC licence. I'll see what I can do.
If I'm reading correctly, "civ=0" in the components.xml should prevent the vehicle type from being sold?
For my private use, I am currently still using supercars as a sort of prototype class. The only difference is that I have unlocked them much earlier (and modified the race events.). For the 50s, it is actually unproblematic that these cars are sold, because racing cars like the jaguar D-Type have also been sold in small numbers as street-legal cars.
civ=0 mil=0, then have a racing series use that vehicle type.
That should prevent civilian and military contracts but allow racing contracts and allow you to assign a vehicle type to a racing series. I don't remember if I ever tested it though, so YMMV.
Paint options and new morph animations for the e70 grille. Here i show you a few examples:

Today I experimented a bit with the orignal car models and their morph animations, which I now have access to. What I always wanted was the right base model to recreate British luxury saloons of the 50/60s. I have therefore added new morph animations to the original "Springer" model.
