cp_TurnEvents and TurnEvents

So I found these two files... I wanted to make the game last longer than 2020, since the covid business had rather interesting effects on the Auto industry and all...

Seemly the end game date is defined by these files, but they look similar. What is the different between them?

cp means copy, disregard it. It's an orphaned file that made it's way into build server many moons ago, newer installs shouldn't have it.

If you wish to extend the date of the map, you'll need to edit the map.xml files AND the turn events files. It's quite an undertaking, but in short, you would need to do everything in the mod tools. Edit the map via map data tool, edit the turn events files via the turn events editor.

Please note, you can play after 2020, but all official maps only include pre-scripted data up to 1/2020.
