Cars i design dissapear?

I have been playing this game since 2016 and always on the WIP build. This is a new problem i am having.

Basically whenever i design a car design(from the bare body model) it dosen't seem to get saved and dissapears unless i build a car whit that body design(still testing this).

Where are self made car designs saved now? They used to be saved in savecars(if i remember right they used to be in the same subfolder as savegames, but i don't have any folder in that subfolder that contains my made car...) folder?

The save folder for car bodies is Parent Folder/GearCity/SavedCars
Yes it is in the same location as the SaveGames folder. If you do not see the SavedCars folder then it was deleted for some reason. You could try a Steam Verification to recreate it, or you can make the folder your self. Remember it is case sensitive, "SavedCars" is the name of the folder.

I had a similar problem once, and IIRC I was saving it in a way that LOOKED fine, but it just ignored me. Can't remember exactly what I did, but I changed my way of doing it and it's been fine since...well, so long as you don't count the fact that my designs are garbage, that is.
