Resolution Linux
I am sorry if this was already discussed, but at least I did not find anything. The game only allows me a resolution of at most 1920x1080, while I prefer 2560x1440. Is there anyway to get the higher resolution to work? The question is specific to Linux. Under Windows this works fine.

This is not game-breaking in anyway, just slightly annoying.

(Sadly, it isn't. If it were, then I would have to boot WIndows to play. Hence, I would play less and work more. :-D )

Are you using more than 1 monitor? Likely your primary monitor is set to 1080p. While your secondary monitor is set to 2k.

The in-game settings polls the driver for the primary monitor's supported resolutions.

You can manually enter the resolution you want using the external settings editor. You can also set which monitor you want the game to launch on (this may not work depending on your Window Manager/Desktop Environment). So launch that program and fiddle with the settings. :)

Changing the primary monitor would also fix the issue, but you probably don't want that. :)

Ah, my problem was reverse. I did not realize that you can change the resolution in-game. There it works fine.

(I do not have a second monitor, I just overlooked the in-game settings so far.)

It is the external settings editor which does not allow me to enter 2560x1440 as a resolution. Now this is even more insignificant as the in-game method works fine.

Just an FYI, I was not referring to the drop down box in the external settings, but below that are two text boxes next to the words "Width" and "Height." You can enter custom resolutions there and hit "Save" and the game will use those resolutions.
Me too. There I tried to enter the correct resolution, but it did automatically changed it to something smaller.
