Well Railroad games are a bit more common than Car Designer games. But being an American, Rail Roads are a completely foreign concept to me. I haven't ever ridden on one for instance. (Which is quite odd considering we were one of the leaders of large scale passenger trail travel 1830-1910...)

Sure, I've played the games, but the theme (rail roads) are not that appealing to me. I'm not really a fan of "build its" either. Which is why GC lacks the "place your factory on a map, rotate your branch around, build a road connecting the two" sort of things you find in light tycoon games.

I've been looking for a decent Airline sim game for years and have never managed to find anything. I'd buy the hell out of it! Looking forward to seeing what you can do!

ATX, have you ever played any of the "Crayon Rail" games like empire builder? I love that stuff, but it is hard to get a group together.

Anyhoo I'm not too picky with GC forums, as it's not too active, and most people seem to not know the existence of the subforums on the side. :\

One would think that the forum police would have better grammar. Wow.

And by the way, what was said was about Gearcity. He was explaining why the game is entirely menu-based, which I found interesting. If you couldn't figure that out, you should probably buff up on your reading comprehension.
