Some serious issues in multiplayer games
I am the host
1.When my friend reconnects to my game, all resources stored in the warehouse will show as dropped to the ground. However, in my perspective, this issue does not exist, and our game cannot synchronize. In his perspective, resource blocks fall to the ground and there is a collision volume, which will affect normal driving but cannot be picked up.
2.Due to the red range limitation of 500m, our game activity area is significantly restricted. After establishing the base, most of the time we can only move around the base, and constantly refreshing minerals will leave more and more traces, greatly affecting the smoothness of the game and the normal driving of vehicles.
3.My friend and I have different interests in gaming. I enjoy adventure and completing tasks, but he prefers to build a base for production at home. Due to the 500m range limitation, we cannot experience multiplayer games well, and moving the red range will cause obvious lag in the game. I think it is best to remove this limitation or load objects around each player like in a single player game, and the range can be appropriately reduced. The idea of limiting the player's activity range really affects the gaming experience

And there is also a problem that can occur in single player games, such as staying away from the task range after receiving a task and returning after a period of time, the task target will disappear. There are still symbols on the mini map, but the entity is no longer there. This problem has a significant impact on tasks that cannot be abandoned or changed.
Finally, when generating the world, there will always be many terrain that is too steep or sharp, and most vehicles find it difficult to cross such terrain. I believe it is best to increase the proportion of flat terrain, just like the Gobi terrain, where most vehicles cannot jump and rough terrain is very deadly

For the distance limit, that's a hard coded thing that they can't easily change.

That's why they're working on Terratech Worlds, so they have a game built with multiplayer included from the start rather than trying to add multiplayer to a game that was designed to only be single player.
