Hopefully more notes will help. Found it happens when I have to control two nations...so maybe it is an artifact from the original game (never played this mode in the original).
I hit alt-enter, screen went black and then back to the same windowed mode. Also if I play in any other resolution, my pointer is off a couple of grids, so I have to click high on the icon.
Windows 7 Pro, Geforce GTX 550Ti, i7 @ 3.4 Ghz
I have no issues with other games, am I missing something easy or is anyone else having this problem?
Any ideas on why this is and what can be done about it?
1) Windowed mode setting isen't saved when exiting the game. It keeps getting reset to Fullscreen when restarting the game. This seems to be the only setting that does this.
2) The game runs at 60hz in fullscreen regardless of desktop settings. That's not good for anyone with a 120hz/144hz monitor. Best fix would be to have a menu setting for refreshrate, but easiest fix would be to just run at whatever the desktop is running at.
3) Vsync makes the game feel very very unresponsive. There's a good delay between pressing the arrow keys to scroll until the game actually scrolls when Vsync is enabled. Turning it off fixes it but there's something going on there.
