How come people say Toad Prince is difficult?
Unless they are playing on NG+ or something, I just killed it on DM old save. Superior Golden Oriole and carpet bomb Dancing Stars, then become invulnerable by staying in poison cloud at duke it out with the toad face to face. Super easy, didn't even come down to 60% Hp.

Alchemy Build is love, Alchemy Build is life.

P.S: That was first try btw. This is no double cat fight or Smough & Ornsteirn solo.

And the Ofieri mage isn't affected by Dimertium Bomb, lol. Now I know why Ofieri doesn't have a witch hunt.

Most of them probably just blindly try to hack him to bits when in fact you actually are encouraged to use as much stuff as possible.
I beat him on DM with multiple grapeshot/northern wind, dragon's dream bombs
Used thunderbolt,swallow,white raffard and Igni
And overall didn't push my luck, the fight went on for at least 10 minutes and it felt very satisfying. That's why I love this game.

I actually thought he was a little tough, and I'm on my regular save on easy. I used my crossbow and sword. Though I didn't have any oils. I used three different kind of bombs (Northern Wind worked really well when I wanted to get up close). I stuffed Geralt full of mushrooms (I had 30 of them lol and I really didn't want to use my swallow unless his health was under half way drained.) and I was set to go. I died twice? I think it was twice, I don't remember.

He wasn't really hard, so much as it was hard to stay away from him because Geralt would just sit there dazed after getting knocked down while the frog would jump over to him.

What about the caretaker he is a real ♥♥♥♥ to kill.

Overall I have to say the fights I have encountered so far are cheaply built. Boar and the new Spider monster are cheap because they run away 99% of the time while trying to chip Geralt health by doing like 0.5% hp each hit. It becomes super annoying when there are half a dozen of them, and trying to catch up with them is tiresome. Plus the Geralt now well known habit to put the sword back while fighting and punching them monsters in the face.

The Ofieri mage is immune to Dimertium carpet bomb yet Geralt can't use sign in the same cloud. And as always, run away like mad. Thanks god for Hangedman Oil, he died of poisoned.

The toad prince is O.K, he conveniently placed a lot of Poison cloud around for me to heal tho so it quickly become a 1 on 1 face punching battle.

His time will come soon, just got off the Ofieri mage battle. I swear the next monster/fight I face that has the opponent running away from me more than half of the combat duration, I will carpet bomb their face in.

Arachnimorphs are wanting to talk to you. ^^

Already killed two dozens of Arachnimorphs (them spiders). End up letting them web me so they can come in to my sword range. Now I feel like Geralt is the Souls game boss and them monsters are players, always running away taking pot shot at Geralt.

Toad prince is a piece of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, undodgeable tongue strike, poison ring strike, aoe jump stun, every hit 100% knocking down, with all those unfair conditions and yet it can still die on the hand of the weakest character in game --- Geralt. If I'm the toad prince sure i will feeling shame and suicide by jumping off from the top of the hill where the path of the warrior taking place.

That stupid toad have a blind spot , just stay beside his head and keep about 1 meter space away from him then u can keep free hitting him without getting hit when he jump~ ez game ez life~
DARKNESS INSIDE 11 Aug, 2017 @ 5:01am
The most cheaty monster in game is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spider ----- Arachnomorph
They ate totally unbalanced, just like a full speed bloodseeker with 3 butterfly and 2 heart plus a rod of atos which can be used without cold down, just get bind for a sec then whole pack of the spiders rush to rape u GG.
Of course if u play as a pure sign warrior, u can easily finished them all but for the meelee sword build ,just a nightmare if they ambush u

Never left a comment before but I have to say that the fight with the mage is the least rewarding fight by miles. every other one so far rewards planning and intuition to counter effects and exploit weaknesses, but the mage deflects just about everything and just runs away half the time, 90% of his kit is almost impossible to avoid and his melee strikes don't seem to have any rhyme or reason in terms of dodging/blocking. My hatred for this character that I don't even know the name of exceeds anything I have felt before, and I used to play league. 0/10 I hope the sand he uses gets stuck inside his clothes and grates his taint off.
W3 biggest flaw is its trivial combat and enemies - toad prince included.

I found the fight with Olgierd tougher than any others (except maybe the fight with Dettlaff).
