Vendor Coin Question

I've played through the game and all DLC once. Loved it! Decided to do another run from the start. I am in White Orchard right now and 2-3 nights have passed. My vendors, the smith and the one from the road don't seem to be renewing coin. I have stuff to sell but they are out of coin all the time.

Maybe I don't remember this but I felt sure they had fresh coin every 24 hours the last time I played. But that has been quite a while ago. Is this a bug or is this normal?

From what I've read most resets are 4-5 days.

Thanks. I had read the same thing but then others said 24 hours. Maybe depends on town? I will keep throwing it into my stash box until I can sell it. Just about ready to leave here. Only have the main quest to finish then on to other places. :)
