Where does quick saves go?

I Finished the game and did a quick save in case i want to play all over again. Then i start DLC (hearts of stone) played like 3-4 hours and then realized my quick save is gone. I looked for everwhere including The Witcher 3 > gamesaves yet i couldn't found. Why you call it ''save'' when it can be deleted automaticly :/

been playing since dec 2015.

in my Documents\The Witcher 3\gamesaves folder I see over 500 saves:
AutoSave
ManualSave
CheckPoint
QuickSave

the game is not deleting them on my win 11 machine

In that folder i have only 23 saves. Anyway i found out that my onedriver delete the files automaticly so i went to deleted files and redownland them back. problem solved.

windows one drive moves files out of the documents folder.
turn off one drive or if you use/need one drive, add exceptions

Isn't it an advantage to use it or is it a disadvantage? It only encompasses 1.6 GB for now.

some need one drive for school/work/etc for backing up important files.
some know how to use one drive with games
some do not need one drive for anything.
I am in the last group - I use a 1gb drive from my old computer for backups.
could also buy a 250gb USB drive for $20US and backup to that
could also use steam cloud - think I still have files there before I stopped.
