Can't load cross save?

Started playing for the first time via pc last week. Continued on my ps5 via cross save. Tried to start up on pc using my cross save and it's now telling me I'm missing dlc and won't load my game. I've searched through posts and this seems to be tied to playing with mods. I don't nor have I ever used mods with this game. Verified files and everything seems fine. Is this an issue with the new patch? Both are on 4.04.

Found my issue. Just in case anyone else has this issue:

Upon update it only initiates the paid dlc items. You have to manually tell it to initiate all of the free dlc that was added with the next gen update.

This fixed my problem and could immediately load my cross save file. Hope it helps anyone one who also encountered this problem!

im a bit late but maybe this will help someone else. To initiate the free dlc i just went to the dlc tab on the witcher 3 and added new game+ then launched the game and it successfully loaded my switch save. Also if you dont own the expansions on switch but do own them on steam, once you load into your cross save the quests will be added. hope this helps
