This is one of my favourite editing programs for my sprites, but recently, I have now experienced a problem after a Windows 10 update, and I don't understand what's going on.

It has worked perfectly fine before, but now it is giving me the error message:
"Game Character Hub couldn't load Steam API. Please check that the Steam client is running, and that there is a file named 'steam_appid.txt' containing 292230 within Game Character Hub installation folder."
I checked that steam was running... and I'm pretty sure it is. When I looked for the file, I found it easily, and it did contain 292230 in the file. So I have no clue what the problem is.

It has worked before completely, but after this update yesterday from my Windows 10, it refuses to load and gives me that message all the time, even if I restart my computer, reload up steam, reinstall the program, and delete the files in %appdata%, so I have no clue what's going on, and I would appreciate help because I really enjoy using this program.
