Resolution Bug
I want to play the game fullscreen on 1680x1050. Firstly, there is no resolution option for that in the menu. Secondly, if I choose "VR or Fullscreen" at the start of the game, it automatically gives me a resolution that is smaller. How can I tell? Well, there is awful screen flickering around edges happening and the whole screen just looks blurrier than before. How do I fix this?

And giving the game the option to increase the screen percentage won't help either. Everytime I change it to higher than 100%, it automatically goes back to 100%.

Please help.

EDIT: I searched for solutions, came up with a manual edit of the UDKEngine.ini file in the games folder. This files doesn't even exist in my folder.

Hi Enix,

When you choose "Full Screen" the game will use your desktop's resolution. We know in some cases it seems that the full screen resolution is lower. We haven't manage to know why this happens in some computers, but we are working to find a reason.

If when you go over 100% screen percentage the game goes back to 100% is because the game goes under 10FPS and it resets itself automatically.

Hm, is it possible that i get a higehr resolution as my monitor has?
I have FullHD but all things are getting smaller, like the steam overlay and fraps.
And when i switch to windows and coem back, the game is smaller like 720p??
And setting in the options 100 or 150% does not change anything.
And the 200% option is gone.
Is this a bug or a feature?
Have Win xp64, R9 290, Crimson 16.5.1

When we detect a significant loss of FPS the game will return the screen percentage setting to 100%.

For an unknown reason some times the game does not goes real fullscreen and it goes to windowed borderless. Please try to press alt+enter to swtich between full screen and windowed and the full screen screen resolution may be the same as your monitors and you will not need the 200% option.

Ok i will try. But why do i always get 720p on a 1080p monitor, when i switch to windows and go back into game?
When i start the game i get always a 150% or 200%, but i want 1080p.
I can go into option menu and click on 100%.
Why do i never get 1080p?

In theory, the engine will match the Windows resolution in full screen, 100% should match 1080. But for some reason some people reported the error mentioned above. Try to alt+enter twice (once to go windowed and the second one to go back fullscreen).

ok thx i will try

UPDATE:

YES YES YES, it works now! Big thx! The game starts in 150% and after pressing 2x Alt+Enter i have 1080p. The best is: after going into windows browser and returning into the game i have still 1080p and not 720p like in the last days. :-)

The game doesn't seem to detect my native resolution - 3840x2160 and so it appears very blurry. Changing to 150% improves it slightly. but not to what it should be. pressing alt+enter twice causes it to enter borderless window mode. I don't understand why manually changing the resolution isn't an option in the first place. It's a standard feature on the vast majority of games. Is there a way to change it in the game files?
