HedgehogUK go to the properties and put Portugese and then launch the game. At least that worked for me.

I am on Arch linux and I have played most of the game on it's new version. Appart the various bugs (one being that the achievements do not work and many many more while playing the game) I reached a point where the character enters the white hole in the wave and sees a vision of Sophia (that would be my guess because the character has stopped talking after the mirrors level) and stays there.
There is nothing I can do to proceed.
So I tried to play the old version from the start.
I did as it is described here and while it says old version on my library, when I launch the game it is the VR version that starts.
(I tried the same by logging in a Windows machine and it works... but not on linux)
How do I troubleshoot that?
I'd really like to finish the game. Even with all the annoying bugs I loved it!

Thanks. I thought you were kidding at first, but I tried it and it worked. Weird!

I chose the old version BUT shows only 247 Mb !! And that's just the files DirectX and Vcredist. My system: Win7 32bit, videocard with DirectX10. Minimum requirements suitable.
does not load the files of the game. What's the problem ?

Verfied game cache? The game should take up 2420 MB.

I am having the same issue, any solutions?

We don't know why this happens, it seems something Steam related not game related

One, it wants a 'beta access code'. What's that about.

Two, it said 'opted in to beta'. Did just clicking that change the game to the 'old' version? How do you switch back and forth?

I haven't played yet and didn't mean to pick the old version, I was just checking the menu.
