Somehow the software wont open up for me. Please can you suggest solutions

The free demo files will download to:
%installdir%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Content

In actuality, this will likely be:
"C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Content"
"C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Content"
"E:\SteamLibrary\Common\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Content"

You'll need an application that can play back RX2 Files to utilize the content. Our Music Creator 6 Touch DAW and SOANR X3 both utilize them and this product is really designed as an add-on for them.
