how do you even "start" the program?

uh... it opens a folder. ok, thats nice and all. but I thought you are giving us a program to make songs from these loops. how do I get to the program that is shown in these videos?

Buy them.

This is a resource pack of loops for DAWs, to actually use the loops you need to get yourself a DAW, such like Music Creater (Cakewalk's own DAW, went on sale monthes ago), or FL Studio. They're not free.

MAGIX Music Maker is also on a discount as of now and is a decent DAW (you can see it on my profile), but I'm not sure if that DAW supports the format used in this resource pack.

There are some free software DAWs out there if you look hard enough. but trust me, if you are really want to create decent music, you're better off getting a good DAW, and that means spending money.

You can try out Reaper DAW . . it has full features demo of it . .and the unlock will contiune even after its expired with a nag window. If you really like it I suggest you spend the money to purchase it of course.
