I don't think the STEAM client will allow Mac install.
Our premium content providers do provide Apple Loop/AIFF versions of the content. This is something that's on our radar.
Some Bibles don't have Jesus ;)
SONAR and Music Creator are both mature Windows applications. It would take a serious re-engineering to port them over safely
OSX/Linux support for the Loop Manager isn't out of the question. Though OSX and Linux are only 4.4% of the STEAM user base combined. I'm sure this will change once steamOS launches: https://steamhost.cn/hwsurvey/
Right now you get Rex2 and a some Waves. We try to deliver all looping content as Rex2. This is the most DAW agnostic on Windows.
You can buy different versions from the Content Providers directly. Ideally, we'd like to offer Loop Manager as cross platform in the near future. OSx installs would get Apple Loops delivered instead of Rex2.
Yeah I have been buying sample packs from Loopmasters, but since there is a download limit, I have to organize and back up everything carefully, so it would be great if I can get sample packs from Steam, but I'm a Logic user so I have to wait for Apple Loops.
Can we also have something from Sounds To Sample? Because the download limit thing is really annoying. :p
Let us get through the Summer Sale first, haha. Maybe, I'll ask someone from marketing to reach out to them.
