What do you mean? does he spawn instead of eldair or does he spawn around him?

The zone is what he's talking about, not the creature. It's a shared spawn with non-special mobs, so make sure you're killing everything in the region if you want him to spawn.

I've been using your advice and killing enemies all day and night and i haven't found him are you sure this has been changed recently? And if it is a chance per normal spawn why not add a system where he spawns after you kill X wolfs or something?

Try looking in the Eldair Forest, which is on the other side of the wall of Eldair the forest giant . As others said, you will want to kill most of the creatures there over and over again until he spawns.

Thank you!!! this is what i needed i was confused since i knew of the forest giant but didnt know that there was a forest just called that
