Exactly, glad I found this post and surprised no one else has responded. I think the same as you my friend. It is an awesome game, one I have even come back to recently, some 8 years later or something! I did speak to a dev one time for Neocore games about WH40k Inquisitor Martyr and also said hey by the way, will you ever make a Deathtrap 2, he said he can not speak on that really but that even he would love it if they did! We can hope.

Wish they would. It's still my favorite. Always wondered what the new classes would have been in the DLC they never released.

I never even knew there was DLC way back when due to be made. Woulda been cool.

In my opinion the best TD game. But TD Games in general are just a small part of the gaming industry, so i can understand, that publisher avoid it these days.

Anyway...i guess, a well polished TD game with good graphics and a good online/multiplayer implementation can have success these days.

A shame, that this game has been left in the dust :(

Its getting bigger, check Blooms TD, there are thousands of players everyday.

I agree that I would love to see this game improved or a 2nd iteration released. Great fun.

Sorry but Sanctum 2 doesn't hold a candle to this game and this game is totally different, Sanctum is not a iso-arpg for one...

Exodus Borealis is the next best / better than but different tower defense game.
It's a city builder / tower defense, so it doesn't have the arpg element to it (which made this game dope), but it definitely innovates on the genre and I've played countless hours in it, despite being in early access.

It's coming out Nov 18th so the EA bit isn't really relevant. I've had it for a few months and there has been constant updates, content and the dev responds to posts. Has a really good community.
There is a demo available too, which is great because £15 price tag looks steep, but I promise it is worth it, if you love TD games.

I think the part people like about Deathtrap is the loot thingie. I know I like aRPGs for that reason.
While loot in Deathtrap isn't... very overwhelming (;-)), it's still there and farming it is fun.
Does Defense Grid have anything like that?
