There were some changes in the sound mapping and we have to use other dll-s, but it works differently depending on your OS (win7,10), so it requires all the updates if you are a w7 user.

A nice thing to know is which specific update package (specific number) fixes this issue, rather than having to install every single update, thus slowing down start up speeds.

Or even better, indicating what .dll files the game requires, and the paths those files are located in.

My game now has no sound and Windows update no longer works so would be most helpful if dev listed the correct files needed to make work for the sound.

lazy dev, uninstall game alrealdy and write an angry review about this game

I take it the original devs have moved on and only entry level training devs are supporting this product? like no clue people who should have been hairdressers instead. Shame I do not need a haircut as this would be a good source.

Installing all updates, both important and optional, for windows 7 64bit would be unnessecary, as not all updates affect sound. Saying this indicates that you yourself do not know which update packages are required for the correct .dll files. I would prefer to not go through such a broad spectrum method, as I rather like my quick start up time. More updates, slower start up.

If you can tell me what .dll files the game points to, I will investigate for myself into which update packages are required.

Additionally, if you cannot tell me, I would ask you point me to someone who can.

I'm not going to install all the updates, I want to know which exact updates affect the issue, and what the filenames and paths of the sound related .dll files you get from said updates are. Installing all the updates will drastically affect start up time, since I'm not using an SSD, so yeah, I'm not doing that.

A solution, that's nothing worth. Due to the fact that Win 7 ain't be supported anymore i allready installed a complete package of updates, important as optional ones. Still i have no sound. Only solution careless Dev's leave me is to refund. Am i glad i just bought the game. I'll definately not do the Dev's Job AND pay them! At last am i not the one wanting to make profit. Only solution for Dev's: Care for your game and your customers, or you may end bankrupt as alot of other careless Dev's. #Nomoneyforlazyness!
