I think there was some talk of map designer...I have no more info on that though.
maybe its in the folder in game files?
Each province, when battl starts, zooms in to tactical display of all forces, structures in the province from the big map to the one where battle takes place.
I think procedural maps would be hard to create in regards to these things.
I dont know if you ever played Birthright, Gorgons alliance...it has some of these elements..
This being said I'd wait until good news on the patch first. Main priority now is better AI for this single player game. I initially supported the game with a positive review but today would caution on buying as its been constant playtesting in my experience. I'll be glad to see a stable and playable state to recommend the game again.
