Province panel usually not updated when I click on a province
I purchased this game before it was officially released, and I've never been able to play it because the province panel usually doesn't show the province I've clicked on. The province under the cursor is correctly highlighted when I hover over it with the mouse, but the province in the province panel generally doesn't change when I click on the province itself.

As an example, one of the first things that you're supposed to do in the tutorial is to click on Wrenloft. I do that, but the province in the province panel doesn't change. I've tried clicking, right-clicking, Ctrl-clicking, and everything else I can think of. I'm using the latest public beta build.

Is anyone else having this problem?

This is a very unusual issue - we've never heard of anyone else having this problem with the game. Is there anything special about your mouse (is it a mouse, a touchpad, etc?) which might explain why it acts unusually?

It's an older Logitech mouse, model M510, but I've never had problems with any other programs.

This still does not work with the latest update, or when using my laptop's touchpad instead of the mouse.

I wasnt able to do it myself, until I realized I dont need to click, I just need to hover my mouse over anotehr province and it will appear in a sec or two. Is that not supposed to happen ?

For me, occasionally the province will change when hovering over it, but usually clicking works more consistently (which is still almost never). Sometimes it starts working for 30 seconds or so -- it almost seems like the game is trying to process huge numbers of mouse events (or taking too long to handle them) and will catch up briefly every so often.
