What's up with prisoners?
Playing a campaign as Sonneneve. Cragenwaste inevitably declares war and invades that province with the dryad vale landmark (which captures a human/dwarf unit each turn), so I end up with all these random prisoners that each cost a few coins per turn to maintain. Here's the thing that I don't understand -- how do I get rid of these guys? The only two options available are ransom and execute. If I ransom them, it generates a peace offer (which I don't want, I fully intend to annex their realm for the iron/stone/crystal resources). If I execute them I take a -5 diplomacy hit to every civilized country. Both options suck, how do I unlock the other choices?

There's nothing else you can do other than destroy that kingdom and then you get another option too - to hire them as mercenaries, but the pay of the units as mercenaries is several times their normal pay. So unless you have plenty of spare income and they're a good unit that you can't recruit normally, not worth it. Can't remember if you still get the diplomacy hit if you execute them once destroying their kingdom or not.

I think there should be another option added - release them - they go back to their home kingdom's army if it still exists. If it doesn't they become rebels ,or mercenary units that any kingdom can ♥♥♥♥.
