Tutorial Bugged.

I just bought the game and well the first battle is bugged.

I'm told to attack a Iron Barony Army.
So I pick Redfall and a page pop's up showing the 2 different armies.
There's a button in the bottom middle that says when highlighted (Fight next round of Combat)
So I click it and nothing happens.I just stay on the same page and there is nothing else I can do except leave the game or stay stuck on this page.

Guess I need to restart the Tutorial.
I'm unable to even get to playing the game. The launcher comes up fine, it goes through the screen showing the companies. However when it reaches the menu where you are supposed to see "New game, load game" and the like it sits there with loading in the bottom left hand corner. I left it alone for over an hour, followed by a few sessions of over 30min and it would never get past that stage.

I have a decent computer, so I don't think it's simply my machine being slow. I have tried compatability modes, reintsalling the game, turning off all my antivirus (Just in case for some unknown reason it was barring certain actions) and anything else I could think of and can't get through to the main menu. I tried the beta patch as well, same thing.

Any help would be appreciated.

***EDIT***

I use nvidia surround for 3 monitor support. Disabling this caused the game to work. Putting the game into windowed mode and turning surround back on lead to the game still working. I hope this helps fix the bug.

there was a game I played a long time ago in the 1980's early 80's called Divine Right by TSR , the same people who made Advanced Dungeons and Dragons. It was played on a map that looked similar to this one. I still remember the names of the countries / kingdoms. Mivior , Hothior, Schucassam, were just a few and there then was the Black Hand , a group of sorcerer cultists. This game seems similar , does anyone know what I am talkng about or am I just a voice from the past? it was played on a paper map , a huge one , with cardboard counters , there was a huge area called the badlands or Barbarian lands and you could place your ambassador counter there and raise up a group of Barbarian mercs to help your kingdom or you could place it on a capital of any other kingdom and perhaps make an alliance which means you had control of that non-player country as well as your own for all practical purposes. It also had Elves and Dwarves Kingdoms , and also ogres. some countries that had a coast also had fleets. this is the first pc game I have ever seen that looked like it.

Battles (both defending and attacking) tend to crash the game for me. Anyone else having this issue? It usually happens when I attack, but it did crash one time when I defended.

Most of my battle crashes have been with fighting rebels, so I started trying to avoid tactical battles versus them for now.
