[Unit Image Mod] Unit Icon Images Expanded
Mod to give unique images to the different nations units. No longer will the Hadrigel Old Guard look the same as the Galeni Templars or the Dwarven Heavy Guard.

Adds 249 unit images, 249 combat icons and 249 promotion icons to the game. Effort was made to adhere to each nations theme and general feel in the selection of images.

The mod as it stands doesn't work, this is due to an issue in the way the game deals with imported mods.

The game expects the mod to be in a folder with the same name as the manifest file - in this case the manifest is named "UnitIconsExpanded.xml" - so for it to work properly the zip file/folder has to be named "UnitIconsExpanded.zip"

This is a limitation of the current modding system - if we expand to include steam workshop, this will no longer be an issue.

On the topic of mod naming - i would strongly suggest using a prefix of some sort with your name or some other way to identify you, to avoid any possible issue of naming conflicts in the future.

(technical issues aside, very nice mod :) )

Thanks for the heads up Jekky! I will get that fixed asap and will post here when corrected.

Should work properly now. Reworked so that the zip file and manifest are now "DadsUnitIconsExpanded". If anyone could test on their system for me and confirm that all is working as expected, that would be wonderful. Thanks!

Thank you for the kind words. I have an updated version ready, but the devs have temporarily disabled the mod manager:
"Mod manager has been disabled for now, while we work on making a better, more user friendly modding tool."
