Duck Game due to be removed from your library?
Warner Bros Discovery are continuing their habit of completely destroying media they own. Developers under the Adult Swim Games umbrella have received noticed that their games are due to be delisted from steam in 60 days, and not just removed from sale but also removed from users accounts essentially stealing that persons money without refund.

I loved the time i spent with Duck Game and i'm very uncomfortable with the possibility of it essentially being stolen from me, can the devs confirm whether they have received notification from WBD that their game is due to be destroyed?

Your "source" doesn't say a word about Duck Game, only Small Radios Big Televisions (and Fist Puncher in the pinned comment).

I bring up Duck Game as its published by Adult Swim Games, which both Small Radios Big Televisions & Fist Puncher are also both published by.

ASG havent published anything new in over a year, most of the staff have been let go and David Zaslav at Warner Bros Discovery is infamous for cancelling and completely removing titles be they films, tv shows and now games entirely from existence as a cost cutting method.

it would suck to have DG removed from steam, but actually it would open up a vacuum for DG2, something which would be awesome.

Plus in a way that makes it abandonedware, so the title can be claimed.

the rights to Duck Game get released when you take the game away from online stores, i dont care if the law is behind the times on this one, I will make Duck Game 2 myself and make lots of money from it if this actually happens lol

In such a situation, the game would remain in your library, it's just that people wouldn't be able to buy it anymore.

If WB does go through with delisting all Adult Swim published games, the publishing rights would hopefully revert to Landon Podbielski, wherein the game could be self published instead of being turned into abandonware.

no, it isnt staying in anyone's library it is being removed, erased entirely and they just keep your money.

also no, the rights do not revert to the developer, WBD are intentionally destroying the game

Your source doesn't mention that, and while I can't say that it hasn't happened before on Steam, that's not how delistings typically go at all. What in the world is making you think it'll get pulled from our libraries?

It is not being removed from anyone's library, just the storefront. And possibly have the servers shutdown.

Is this confirmed? Even for achievements etc?

as long you bought the game on Steam they are not going to vanish from your library, it's the store that will be gone, so make sure to buy the game before it's too late
