Is this game supposed to open 5+ CMD.exe windows every time it launches?

Every time I start the game, there are about LOTS (5-10) of CMD.EXE MS-DOS Windows that quickly open and clolse before the game launches. Is it supposed to do this? It's a bit disturbing.

The game works fine, though.

About 4 or 5 of them appear for me. Never bothered with that. Don't know if that's normal.

Yeah, it might be 4-5, dunno, it's too fast. I'm just worried it's installing or reinstalling something every time that's only supposed to be installed the first time, thus screwing up my computer and/or taking up additional hard drive space.

I have no idea why it would do this. None of my other games do anything like this.

Not to worry - without going into the tech details, this is normal (or at least expected!) behaviour, and doesn't cause any undue stress or eat up the hd of the computer. :)
