Goon Stole My Costume (Spoilers?)
I got the guard costume, it's great, I used it for a while, no problem. I had 6 goons, but I saw one that I really wanted, so I tried to hire him, and the game told me I have a full crew already. So I lined up a couple of goons by the firing range, took them out (kept my favorite 4), and then I went back and hired that goon that I wanted. The game somehow glitched, and gave me two of the same goon. "Great! Identical twins!" I though... So I set one up as a sniper, and I set up his clone with a silencer and my guard uniform.

I sent them into a mission, both got in the van (to start the mission), but when the mission started, I only had one of them. (The sniper, WITHOUT the guard uniform). I thought that was strange, so I went back to my hideout, and everything is back to normal, minus the cloned copy of my new goon. That guy disappeared without a trace, with a silenced pistol, a ton of ammo, and as far as I can tell, the one and only guard uniform in the entire game.

I went back to the bank, tried to get another guard uniform, but it's not there anymore. So as far as I can tell, there is no way for me to get another guard uniform without restarting my entire game. I've seen some people mention hacking ini files or something to make some changes. Any chance someone can help me hack my way into retrieving my lost guard uniform? Or am I stuck with a forced restart being the only option?

1. open with notepad C:\users\<name>\AppData\Roaming\Shark Punch\The Masterplan\jobbet_<date>.json
where name is your username, date should be latest(should be largest file)
2. find "Central BB Bank"
3. replace "items" : [] to "items": [{"amount": 0, "name": "guardDisguise", "position": { "x": 104297, "y": -225391 }}]
in case there are items on central BB bank you forgot, [] won't be empty. Just add a comma(,) after last } in that line and add {"amount": 0, "name": "guardDisguise", "position": { "x": 104297, "y": -225391 }}
4. Save file and load that game. Go to bank and try to find that costume at the same place it was.

Well, that's supposed to work, but I'm not sure. At least that's how it looks in savegame where I didn't take costume. I suggest backup file before doing that just in case.

Another way is you can find "goons" in same file and in their inventory add "guardDisguise" by copying some entry in inventory that already exists and modifying item name.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm sure that would probably work, but it's a little too late now. I found that file and started hacking away at it, and made some neat adjustments, but then I ended up breaking my save, so I just started the game over. But yeah, the main detail I needed was the "guardDisguise", I just wasn't sure what it was called. I tried "policeUniform", "guardUniform", "guardCostume", and a few things like that, before I eventually just ended up breaking the save, and when I loaded it up the final time, it just started a new game and all of my info was lost.

I do like that you can edit the save like that though, it's pretty cool. This time around, I added custom names for all of my characters to personalize it a little bit. But yeah, thanks for the info. I'll definitely keep this post in mind in case I end up losing the disguise again.
