Demo/Trial Game?
Hello, I was browsing through the steam store when this game caught my eye, a top down heisting game set in the 60's-80's, and I was slightly worried if I was going to pay money for it, it would not be what I expected. So, anyways, I was wondering if the developers could release a demo for The Masterplan? (Something like one heist/mission and a tutorial.)

Worried about a 11$ game?
Seriously dude, are you broke or something?

There is no Demo right now, and I don't think the devs will produce one before finishing the game.
They are not Electronic Arts.

I am broke. I was suggesting that they do, at some point, release a demo of the game for people who are unsure if they want to spend money on it to try it first. I apologize if my suggestion seemed moronic.

I feel for you guy.
A good one should be the Jewel Store as it was in the beginning with 3 "seted" goons (Cramer with an outfit, and Gregory with lockpick).

As funny as it may sound, we actually haven't much considered releasing a demo. Not sure if that can fit in the schedule, but it's certainly worth a discussion. Thanks for the suggestion! :)

They should have a demo that lets u rob the bar or minimart only!
I wouldnt have ever got this game if not for playing it through a torrent first. It looks really bad IMO till you actually try it, but now if it gets to the point where it doesnt crash whenever i do anything i am gonna buy it. it needs a tutorial!

We talked about the demo, and there are good points for and against it. Obviously, the biggest one against it is the time taken away from the actual development; do we rather work on making the game better and more complete, or build almost as a separate project a demo for the game.

Furthermore, making a demo while we're still in the middle of developing the game is futile, as that would mean we'd have to constantly work on two projects simultaneously instead of one; or that we'd have an outdated demo giving a poor presentation of our game.

So for now, there won't be a demo. We'll however undoubtedly return to the question nearer to the launch. What we'd really would love is to have an option to quickplay the game online, e.g. in Playfield[playfield.io]. We will see.
