Hello all,

Recently I've finished Sin of Damnation on Impossible with the Flesh Tearers. I was pleasantly surprised at how doable it was, and managed to beat the campaign without save scumming or anything of the sort. (Lots of trial and error, though)

Now I'm trying a fresh Impossible run with the Dark Angels on Bringer of Sorrows.

The jump in difficulty between the two hulks seems pretty steep. Sin of Damnation was definitely challenging on Impossible, but I found a reliable strategy for all missions.

The second mission of the Bringer of Sorrows is already proving a pain in the butt, though. I remember struggling on this mission in earlier playthroughs on Hard, and having to resort to save scumming to complete it. Now I'm determined to find a reliable strategy for it.


My strategy so far has been to turn right out of the deployment zone, cut off the first Genestealer node and then push 3 Terminators up the long corridor towards the first bulkhead door on the right, while the other two keep the node locked and watch the squad's back.

The problems arise at the 4-way intersection just before the first bulkhead door, which is a pain to hold down. I've managed to push through this intersection and open the first bulkhead door, but at great cost in terms of flamer fuel and Librarian Psi.

Furthermore, my two Terminators watching the rear struggle to hold back the Genestealer tide.


Any thoughts or strategies that can help to finish this mission on Impossible?
