Did they just ended the story in the middle?!?!

WTF. it was the worst game in the series, but at least it had a nice story. and then it's just ending in the middle of it. so frustrating.

They kinda ran out of money and had to cut the game short.

hello,

yes, as @Leonard said above - developers were too ambitious and spent all their money on thus so far and had no finance to continue making the game and released it in that state

waste of money tbh, made whole series much worse imho with such entry in it, wasn't really a trine fan but damn graphic is beautiful rest is crap, especially gameplay

Testing new grounds is what makes game industry move forward you know.
You won't learn anything new, if you won't risk on a new ground.

yet if u compare this title to trine 2 / 4 sales & reviews the risk of a new ground was mostly costful for damn poor result, innovation != good ideas
