Windward Developer's Log (Patch Notes)

Also a link to this (or the contents itself) should be on the official wiki. C'mon devs, this is communication 101 for a game company, we shouldn't have to tell you this.

This log is available from the first screen in Windward -- Useful Links drop-down on the main menu. In any case, I stickied it. :)

I bought the game couple of days ago and im really impressed and happy to see that there updates almost everyday.
But how come you dont utilise the news feed on steam. When i download the patch i go to close the notification on the download page and there is a news button and i never see anything updated there.
Would love it if you drop a post now and then there. Like maybe information about the last few patches or highlights?

.... ban? really that can be easy abused why no kick from server?
also I never have gotten/seen any legendary items from towns and now its even more rare ;(

Could we please get a way to change our old save names so they don't have the special characters that you allowed to begin with but decided to disallow on a whim. I honestly had no idea a game that's now claiming to be a full release would wipe my character so readily.

You can rename files and folder in Windows with F2 or with the right-click context menu.

We're toying with the idea of create a "battle arena" type server purely for pvp. Would be great to be able to have:

-The ability to turn off npc spawning in a region.
-The ability to set a max lvl for a region, i.e. setting a region for 75-90 would limit it to players between those levels.
-Lock a region to prevent anyone who isnt already in there from joining in anything but observer mode.
-Arena mode for either free for all or team play that uses kills for scoring over a set period of time (like the conflict timer, which imo should just count down and not have time added to it).

OR.... maybe just the ability to create a pvp instance with that stuff i mentioned.
