Isn't this game basically Dixit?
Just from the description it sounds exactly like the card game dixit, has anyone played both and can confirm or not?

I watched people play and it is exactly Dixit. The publisher and designers look completely unrelated.

The reason they basically stole dixit without referencing it makes me hate this game.

Yeah it is basically Dixit. It would be more value for money and also more ethical if people bought Tabletop Sim and played Dixit there instead. I think the devs are banking on the fact that lots of people who did not grow up with board games and are chronically online likely will not know what Dixit is. Not a great sign that people are making money off this kind of stuff...
