UI Main Menu Bug
Game launches and window flickers, then all that's visible is a square that changes colors and the cursor. Music plays, occasionally you can hear a button sound, but I can't tell if the menu is functioning, doesn't seem to. Followed usually by a crash or I close it out.

M2 Mac, OSX Monteray. No mods, reinstalled a few times, cleared the preferences folder, turned off steam overlay.

Here's what it looks like -

Is this new behavior that wasn't happening before?

yea. my last run was in jan and it was fine, never seen this before. It loads like one giant pixel of the background, color changes from dark to green, and yellowish when i move the mouse on the left of the screen where the menu would be. menu music and sound plays.

it acts like it wants to switch to windowed mode then bugs to the above. can you force it to load native resolution from a config file somewhere? or windowed mode?

yeah, you can try all the command line options here: https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/PlayerCommandLineArguments.html

tried full screen 0 and 1, and windowed borderless through terminal to no avail. You can't see but it's loading to main menu, clicking and esc change the color like it going to the next screen and back, but it like there's a UI filter or element that causing the window to be zoomed in/blurred. IDK.

Forcing resolution with command lines in terminal seems to have corrected it, it will now also load from steam fine. Maybe a bad/corrupt settings/pref file due to update?

FYI here are the argument to put into (right click on game in library) -> properties -> general -> launch options

-screen-height 1080 -screen-width 1920 (if your screen is 1920x1080)
