resolved the issue steam deck caps issue to an input eventing issue between steam deck and unity; https://bsky.app/profile/unormal.bsky.social/post/3lpuyzupxic2f

and have a local patch that resolves it, I'll see if I can fold it into a hotfix: https://bsky.app/profile/unormal.bsky.social/post/3lpuzx6thj22f

We should be able to get a prospective workaround hotfix up tomorrow.

beta branch now has a propsective hotfix for both the steam deck capitalization issue and macos zone freeze/thaw issues if anyone wants to take them for a quick spin. (210.17)
